AN ACT LIMITING THE GOVERNOR'S BUDGET RESCISSION AUTHORITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 4-85 of the general statutes be amended to reduce the Governor's authority to make budgetary rescissions from five per cent of total appropriations to two per cent of total appropriations.
Statement of Purpose:
To limit the Governor's budget rescission authority to two per cent of the budget.
