AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR TRANSITIONAL HOUSING IN NEW HAVEN COUNTY FOR WOMEN RETURNING FROM INCARCERATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the sum of _____ dollars be appropriated to the Department of Correction, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018, for the creation and operation of an ex-offender halfway house for women in New Haven County.
Statement of Purpose:
To fund an ex-offender halfway house for women in New Haven County to improve parole, employment and housing outcomes.
