AN ACT AUTHORIZING LIFETIME HUNTING AND FISHING LICENSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2017) Notwithstanding the provisions of chapter 490 of the general statutes, the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection may establish and issue lifetime hunting and fishing licenses, permits and stamps and combinations thereof. In issuing any such lifetime license, permit or stamp, the commissioner shall provide for the placement of an endorsement on the motor vehicle operator's license of an individual to indicate the issuance of such lifetime license, permit or stamp.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To allow for the purchase of lifetime hunting and fishing licenses, permits and stamps.
