AN ACT REQUIRING TAX EXPENDITURES TO BE LISTED INDIVIDUALLY AS LINE ITEMS IN THE BUDGET.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require each tax expenditure to be a line item in the budget document approved by the General Assembly.
Statement of Purpose:
To promote transparency and accountability in state government spending.
