AN ACT AUTHORIZING A LOCAL OPTION TAX ON SUGAR-SWEETENED BEVERAGES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide towns with populations of greater than fifty thousand the authority to impose, at their discretion, a tax on sugar-sweetened beverages.
Statement of Purpose:
