AN ACT INCREASING PENALTIES FOR INTENTIONAL VIOLATIONS OF THE ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR MINIMUM BOTTLE LAW.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 30 of the general statutes be amended to make intentional violation of the alcoholic liquor minimum bottle law a per se violation of section 42-110b of the general statutes, subject to a ten-day alcoholic liquor permit suspension for each permit premises of a permit holder found to be in violation and the imposition of a fine of not less than fifty thousand dollars for each day of such violation at each location, in addition to any existing penalties.

Statement of Purpose: 

To increase the penalties for intentional violation of minimum bottle provisions to prevent intention violation of the law.
