AN ACT PROHIBITING AUTOMATIC VOTER REGISTRATION AT CERTAIN STATE AGENCIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to provide that no person may, during any transaction with a state agency in which personal or identifying information is provided, be automatically admitted as an elector unless such person affirmatively opts to be so admitted.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit automatic voter registration at certain state agencies.
