AN ACT CONCERNING ADMISSION OF ELECTORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to provide that (1) the last regular session for the admission of electors prior to an election shall be on the fifth day before election day until not later than twelve o'clock p.m. on such day, and (2) no person may be admitted as an elector on the day on which a regular election is held.
Statement of Purpose:
To extend the deadline for registering to vote an additional two days and eliminate election day registration.
