2424 AN ACT CONCERNING DRUG DISTRIBUTOR CIVIL LIABILITY.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That the general statutes be amended to provide that any distributor of a drug who sells, offers for free or shares in the use of an illegal or legal drug that is known to be addictive to a recipient who becomes addicted to the drug and seeks medical services, suffers economic loss or is unable to maintain employment, is civilly liable for the medical services rendered and losses suffered.
