AN ACT ESTABLISHING A RARE DISEASE ADVISORY COUNCIL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to establish an advisory council comprised of researchers, geneticists, physicians, hospital administration and patient advocates for the purpose of making recommendations to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to public health concerning the rare disease community.
Statement of Purpose:
To make recommendations on legislation concerning the rare disease community.
