AN ACT CONCERNING PRESCRIPTIONS FOR OPIOID DRUGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit a prescribing practitioner from issuing a prescription for more than a three-day supply of an opioid drug.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the length of time for opioid prescriptions.
