AN ACT CONCERNING DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH CONSENT ORDERS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 19a-14 of the general statutes be amended to (1) require a receipt of a copy of any objection by a complainant to resolving a complaint against an individual working in a profession regulated by the Department of Public Health by a consent order, (2) provide the opportunity for the withdrawal of a consent order and the filing of an amended consent order, and (3) provide such individual with an opportunity to respond to the objection.

Statement of Purpose: 

To revise the consent order process.
