AN ACT INSTITUTING CONGESTION VARIABLE PRICING LANES ON INTERSTATE HIGHWAYS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Transportation to construct lanes with congestion pricing electronic tolls on interstate highways in the state.
Statement of Purpose:
To construct lanes for congestion pricing electronic tolls on Connecticut interstate highways to generate revenue for the maintenance of the state's highway infrastructure and accident management.
