| 28 | 28 | That the general statutes be amended to (1) establish a program exempting certain fuel-efficient vehicles from the minimum vehicle occupancy requirements for operation of a motor vehicle in the state's high-occupancy vehicle lanes, provided the operator of any such fuel-efficient vehicle pays an annual user fee of twenty-five dollars to participate in such program, and (2) provide that any funds collected by the operation of such program shall be dedicated toward maintenance of the state's transportation infrastructure. | |
