AN ACT CONCERNING THE LICENSING PROCESS FOR SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 14-44 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Motor Vehicles to streamline the process by which it issues an operator's license bearing a school bus endorsement.
Statement of Purpose:
To address the shortage of school bus drivers by reducing unnecessary delay in the application process.
