AN ACT REQUIRING BACK SEAT PASSENGERS IN A MOTOR VEHICLE TO WEAR SEAT BELTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 14-100a of the general statutes be amended to require any back seat passenger in a motor vehicle to wear a seat safety belt while such vehicle is being operated on any highway in the state.
Statement of Purpose:
To promote safety for passengers in the back seat of a motor vehicle by requiring such passengers to wear seat belts.
