AN ACT CONCERNING THE REPAIR AND RESTORATION OF HISTORIC BRIDGES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 13a-87 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Commissioner of Transportation from replacing a historic bridge when repair and restoration of the bridge is feasible at a cost comparable to replacement.
Statement of Purpose:
To encourage the repair and restoration of historic bridges by the Department of Transportation.
