AN ACT CONCERNING OCCUPATIONAL LICENSING AND MILITARY SPOUSES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 20 of the general statutes be amended to permit the waiver of certain occupational licensing requirements for any person who (1) has satisfied similar such requirements and has been granted an occupational license in another state, and (2) is the spouse of a veteran or the spouse of a member of the armed forces.

Statement of Purpose: 

To allow military spouses with occupational licenses from other states to more easily acquire them in Connecticut.
