AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO STUDY BEST PRACTICES TO PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION TO SENIOR CITIZENS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17a of the general statutes be amended to create a task force to study best practices in other states and modern transportation models to create a more effective, efficient and reliable transportation service for senior citizens.
Statement of Purpose:
To create a more effective, efficient and reliable transportation service for senior citizens who often have mobility limitations at a time when current fixed-route transportation services often run empty.
