AN ACT EXPANDING ELIGIBILITY FOR THE CONNECTICUT HOME-CARE PROGRAM FOR THE ELDERLY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 17b-342 of the general statutes be amended to (1) expand income eligibility for the Connecticut home-care program for the elderly, and (2) decrease the percentage of the cost of care participants pay.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide more senior citizens with the opportunity to receive care at home rather than an institution.
