AN ACT SUSPENDING FUNDING TO MUNICIPALITIES THAT ADOPT SANCTUARY CITY POLICIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes and public and special acts be amended to suspend any funding to a municipality that adopts a sanctuary city policy that is in violation of federal and state law.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit a municipality from violating certain federal or state laws.
