AN ACT CONCERNING THE FUNDING FOR YOUTH VIOLENCE PREVENTION PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the Judicial Department, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018, for the purpose of funding youth service prevention programs; and that the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate ____ dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Judicial Department for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid for youth services prevention.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the continuation of youth violence prevention programs.
