AN ACT AUTHORIZING PUBLIC LIBRARIES TO PRESCRIBE RULES REGARDING INTERNET ACCESS AND CONTENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 11-33 of the general statutes be amended to permit the board of trustees of a public library to make rules regarding Internet access and content at the public library.
Statement of Purpose:
To permit a board of trustees of a public library to prescribe rules that prohibit pornography on computers that are available for use by the public at the library.
