AN ACT CONCERNING THE TIME PERIOD OF CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORDS CHECKS FOR PROSPECTIVE TEACHERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-221d of the general statutes be amended to limit the criminal history records check for an applicant for a position in a public school to the previous ten years.
Statement of Purpose:
To limit the criminal history records check for prospective teachers in a public school to the previous ten years.
