2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended by reducing, by one-tenth of one per cent each taxable year over a five-year period, the rate of personal income tax imposed on unmarried individuals with incomes of less than fifty thousand dollars and married individuals filing jointly with incomes of less than one hundred thousand dollars.
