AN ACT REQUIRING AN ONLINE LIST OF THE MEMBERSHIP OF LEGISLATIVE BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 2 of the general statutes be amended to require the Office of Legislative Management to post on the Internet web site of the General Assembly a list of all boards and commissions that are legislatively appointed, including a list of the membership of each such board and commission, the appointing authority for each member and any vacancies.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase transparency in state government and allow the public to access membership information concerning legislative boards and commissions.
