AN ACT CONCERNING THE RECOVERY OF MUNICIPAL HEALTH CARE PLAN FUNDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow municipalities to recover funds expended toward the medical treatment of a covered individual who is injured in an accident and receives medical treatment covered by a municipal health care plan, if such individual obtains settlement funds.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow municipalities to recover funds expended toward the medical treatment of a covered individual who is injured in an accident and receives medical treatment covered by a municipal health care plan.
