AN ACT CONCERNING TICKETS OR SUMMONS ISSUED FOR MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that if a police officer issues a ticket or summons for a violation of a municipal ordinance all amounts paid by the person issued such ticket or summons shall be given to the municipality in which the ticket or summons was issued.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure money paid for tickets or summons issued for municipal ordinance violations is paid in full to the municipality in which the ticket or summons was issued.
