| 28 | 28 | That the general statutes be amended to authorize the Commissioner of Public Health to permit a medical assistant in a federally qualified health center to administer medication under the order of a licensed health care provider who is authorized to prescribe medication, provided such medical assistant has completed not less than twenty-four hours of classroom training and not less than eight hours of clinical training regarding the administration of medications. | |
