AN ACT REQUIRING THE USE OF HELMETS BY OPERATORS OF CERTAIN MOTOR SCOOTERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 14-289g of the general statutes be amended to require an operator of a motor scooter with a motor having a capacity of less than fifty cubic centimeters piston displacement to wear protective headgear.
Statement of Purpose:
To require operators of certain scooters to wear a helmet.
