2432 AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROCESS FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CERTAIN GENERAL PERMITS BY THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION.

2634 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

28-Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2017) Notwithstanding any provision of title 22a of the general statutes, any general permit issued by the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection that covers the operations of twenty-five or more businesses in the state shall not go into effect until the provisions of such permit are adopted as a regulation of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54 of the general statutes.
