AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR ALTERNATIVE TREATMENT SEPTIC SYSTEMS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, in consultation with the Department of Public Health, to evaluate their Clean Water Fund programs to ensure decentralized needs are adequately determined and sufficiently funded and to set aside appropriations through the Clean Water Fund to develop a program for the use of alternative treatment septic systems. Statement of Purpose: To allow towns to use alternative treatment septic systems.
