AN ACT AUTHORIZING DOGS AT STATE PARK CAMPGROUNDS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection to adopt regulations that authorize persons to have dogs at state park campgrounds and that establish a limit on the number of dogs that a person may have at a campground, require a person to show proof of any such dog's vaccinations prior to entering the campground and provide requirements concerning the restraint of such dogs for the purpose of protecting individuals and property and preventing spoliation of any part of such campground.

Statement of Purpose: 

To authorize persons to have dogs at state park campgrounds.
