2424 AN ACT REQUIRING THE POSTING OF NOTICE WHEN LAND ABUTS OTHER PROPERTY SUBJECT TO AN ENVIRONMENTAL LAND USE RESTRICTION.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

28-Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2017) Any person who offers for sale any parcel of land that abuts any other parcel of land for which an environmental land use restriction was recorded, in accordance with the provisions of section 22a-133o of the general statutes, shall post upon such parcel of land that is offered for sale a notice that such parcel abuts land for which an environmental land use restriction applies. Such notice shall consist of a sign that is not less than eight and one-half inches by eleven inches in size and shall be in a form substantially as follows:

34-The word "attention" shall be in letters at least one and one-half inches high, the words "this property abuts land for which an environmental land use restriction applies" shall be in letters at least three-fourths of an inch high and any other wording on such sign shall be one-quarter of an inch or smaller provided all such wording shall be readily legible.
