AN ACT EXEMPTING SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS FROM THE STATE INCOME TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to exempt Social Security benefits from the state income tax.
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt Social Security benefits from the state income tax.
