AN ACT CONCERNING RANSOMWARE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to define ransomware and make it a crime to knowingly install ransomware on a computer.
Statement of Purpose:
To define ransomware and make it a crime to knowingly install ransomware on a computer.
