AN ACT INCREASING THE VALUE OF THE HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION WITH RESPECT TO JUDGMENT DEBTORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 52-352b of the general statutes be amended to increase the value of the homestead exemption from seventy-five thousand dollars to two hundred fifty thousand dollars.
Statement of Purpose:
To modernize the value of the homestead exemption.
