AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF MOTOR VEHICLE REGISTRATION. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the Department of Motor Vehicles study issues regarding motor vehicle registration, including general compliance with the provisions of section 14-12 of the general statutes that require a resident of this state who operates a motor vehicle that he or she owns with names plates issued be another state to register such motor vehicle with the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles within sixty days of becoming a resident, and report on the results of such study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to transportation. Statement of Purpose: To study issues regarding motor vehicle registration.
