AN ACT CONCERNING A TAX DEDUCTION FOR DEPENDENT CARE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to establish a child and dependent care deduction against the income tax for families caring for elderly relatives, persons with disabilities or children at home.
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the burden on families providing care for dependents at home.
