AN ACT CONCERNING WHO MAY CONDUCT A SEARCH OF A STUDENT'S MOBILE ELECTRONIC DEVICE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to authorize only a school administrator or a police officer to conduct a search of a student's mobile electronic device.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow only a school administrator or a police officer to conduct a search of a student's mobile electronic device.
