AN ACT REDUCING THE NUMBER OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND IN-SERVICE TRAINING DAYS FOR SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 170 of the general statutes be amended to permit local and regional boards of education to reduce the number of days devoted professional development and in-service training for teachers and school personnel.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide mandate relief to school districts.
