2424 AN ACT CONCERNING PERMANENT ABSENTEE BALLOT STATUS.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That section 9-140e of the general statutes be amended to provide that any elector who receives permanent absentee ballot status shall not be required to provide a certification each year from a primary care provider indicating that such elector is permanently physically disabled and unable to appear in person at such elector's designated polling location.

3232 To clarify that, upon receiving permanent absentee ballot status, an elector shall not be required to confirm annually with a primary care provider's certification that such elector continues to be eligible for such status.
