AN ACT CONCERNING DEED RESTRICTIONS FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 8-30g of the general statutes be amended to require affordable housing units in set-aside developments to remain affordable in perpetuity rather than allowing the deed restriction to sunset after forty years.
Statement of Purpose:
To help municipalities meet the affordable housing requirements under section 8-30g of the general statutes.
