HOYDICK, 120th Dist. REP. O'DEA, 125th Dist. REP. O'NEILL, 69th Dist. AN ACT REQUIRING ELECTRONIC NOTIFICATION BY THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 17b-10 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Social Services, within available resources, to establish a system to electronically notify persons who have signed up for such notifications about program developments, law changes and planned updates to regulations. Statement of Purpose: To improve communication between the Department of Social Services and the residents of Connecticut.
