AN ACT CONCERNING DISTRACTED DRIVING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit a civil action for treble damages against any party who causes a motor vehicle accident while violating the distracted driving statute.
Statement of Purpose:
To deter distracted driving.
