AN ACT CONCERNING VICTIM RESTITUTION REQUESTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 54 of the general statutes be amended to require that victim restitution requests are always considered by the court when the victim makes such a request.
Statement of Purpose:
To require that the victim's restitution request always be considered by the court, rather than being within the discretion of a prosecutor.
