AN ACT CONCERNING CRIMINAL LIABILITY IN THE CASE OF A DEATH CAUSED BY AN OPIATE SUBSTANCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 53a of the general statutes be amended to establish the crime of homicide by sale of an opiate substance that results in the death of another person.
Statement of Purpose:
To combat the opioid crisis in this state.
