AN ACT CONCERNING A LOCAL OPTION SALES TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit municipalities to levy a sales tax of up to one-half of one per cent and retain the tax revenue collected.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide municipalities with additional tax revenue.
