2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 That subsection (b) of section 36a-701b of the general statutes be amended to require a person who conducts business in this state who provides notice of any breach of security regarding computerized data containing personal information to a resident, to also provide notice of such breach to the local police department or the Division of State Police within the Department of Emergency Services and Police Protection.
