AN ACT CONCERNING THE NONDISCLOSURE OF THE RESIDENTIAL ADDRESSES AND TELEPHONE NUMBERS OF POLICE OFFICERS AND CORRECTION OFFICERS ON MUNICIPAL LAND RECORDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 1-217 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the disclosure of the residential address and telephone number of any police officer or employee of the Department of Correction contained on a municipal land record.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect the privacy of police officers and correction officers from disclosure of their home addresses and telephone numbers on municipal land records.
